The Melksham Grinders Golf Society is gearing up for its most meaningful tournament yet — a three-day charity event at the stunning St. Mellion Estate, raising funds for Dorothy House Hospice Care.
Running from 11th to 13th April 2025, the event is part of Dorothy House’s ‘Together in Adversity’ campaign, a heartfelt initiative to close a funding gap and continue delivering vital end-of-life care across the region.
For the Grinders, this isn’t just about golf. It’s personal. The hospice supported the family of one of our own, caring for Sheila Sidnell before she sadly passed in November 2024. This event is our way of giving back.
Tournament organiser James Dix summed it up best:
“This tournament is more than just a game of golf; it’s about coming together to make a real difference.”
With two championship courses, including the world-renowned Nicklaus Course, St. Mellion is the perfect backdrop for a game that’s about far more than birdies and bogeys.
